Swine Flu Vaccines Going to GITMO Detainees Despite Shortage?

Amid a national flu vaccine shortage, the government is making sure to send H1N1 vaccines to terrorist detainees in Guantanamo Bay despite there being thousands of American families who need the vaccine here at home. That means the government is directing scarce taxpayer funded resources to suspected terrorists before taking care of at-risk children and pregnant women here in our communities.

The fact that we have a flu vaccine shortage to begin with should make people question whether the government could actually handle such a major overhaul of our economy as a government take-over of healthcare. Why should the American people trust the same government bureaucracy that can't effectively run a vaccine program to actually operate a national health system?
